Within the same practice, she progressed into the role of treatment coordinator, gaining hands-on experience in case presentation, financial discussions, and insurance navigation. She later stepped into office management, overseeing operations, team workflow, and overall revenue performance.
Her growth within one specialty practice provided her with a comprehensive understanding of the full lifecycle of care — from procedure to reimbursement. Over time, she expanded her revenue cycle expertise across general dentistry, pediatric practices, and endodontics, developing a strategic perspective that blends clinical awareness with operational structure.

Shelby began her career in dentistry over 12 years ago after graduating from dental assisting school, working chair side in a general practice in Richmond, Texas. She later transitioned into specialty practices in orthodontics and oral surgery throughout the Katy and Houston area. As her experience deepened, her responsibilities expanded beyond clinical support and into the financial and operational side of the practice. What began chair side evolved into a focused role in revenue performance, systems oversight, and long-term financial stability.
